DISMISSAL- Kinder, 1st and 2nd grades only:
Families, we love having you on campus to drop off/pick up your students! It is a great opportunity for us to see and visit with you each day. We ask that during this pickup time, you adhere to the below guidelines.
- If you are walking to pick-up: Please stay back so that teachers can have a direct line of sight as their students are getting into vehicles and meeting up with siblings or parents.
- If you are using Pick-up Loop (blue arrows):
- Stay in your vehicle so traffic keeps moving. We are happy to walk your children to your car.
- Pull all the way up in the loop so that we do not have vehicles backed up onto Broadway
- Students MUST enter your vehicle on the passenger (sidewalk) side of the car.
- If you are parking in the Parking Lot and Walking: PLEASE use the crosswalk (in RED) when you walk from your parked vehicle to your child and back. We realize that it is more convenient to walk through the pick up loop, but it poses a significant safety issue when cars on the inside loop (green arrows) are trying to exit the parking lot.
- Students will be practicing these expectations as well, so this should help.

DISMISSAL - Intermediate students (3rd, 4th and 5th grades) only:
(NORTH LOOP - Behind Broadway)
- 3rd - 5th graders will now be picked up in the back loop of the school - on the north side.
- Students will walk with their classes to the back area for pick-up.
- When you enter the loop, you will immediately veer right
- This is a drive-through loop only. There is no long-term stopping or parking. Please continue moving through the loop at all times.
- Stay in your vehicle so traffic keeps moving. We are happy to walk your child to your car
- Pull all the way up in the loop to pick up your student
- Students must enter your vehicle on the passenger side of the car
- When exiting the loop, you will only be able to turn right. From there, you are able to take another right, onto Broadway, or turn left onto Foy Drive. Foy Drive loops back to Greenbelt Drive, if that is the direction you need to go.
Please Do Not Use 22½ Road (east of Broadway Elementary)
- This road is no longer available for parking or pick-up.
- Keeping this road clear is essential for maintaining safety and a steady flow of traffic
Additional Reminders:
SIBLINGS - ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIBLINGS WILL MEET AT THE PICK UP LOCATION OF THEIR
YOUNGEST SIBLING
- Primary Students (Grades K–2) will continue to be picked up and dropped off at the front of the school.
- Students will be practicing these expectations as well, so they will hopefully be familiar with them
Volunteers are always appreciated to help support our safety efforts!
